Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Sr. Electrical Engineer - Hardware and Firmware!

What You’ll Do:

  • Design embedded electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration.

  • Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools.

  • Work with modern SoCs and networking hardware to build test development platforms.

  • Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.

  • Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.


What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products.

  • Proficient in high-speed digital design including multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR, Ethernet (MAC/PHY), SPI, I2C, and FPGAs (Xilinx 7-series, Ultrascale+, Vivado).

  • Skilled in microprocessor/microcontroller selection, configuration, and interfacing.

  • Experienced in schematic capture, high-speed PCB design, and layout guidance.

  • Competent with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes) and test automation.

  • Knowledgeable in embedded software and Linux development (timers, interrupts, SPI, ADCs, device trees, drivers, bootloaders).

  • Proficient in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for development and automation.

  • Familiar with product development processes and tools.

  • Background in aerospace, spaceflight, military, or cryogenic electronics design.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.

Salary Range:

$177,500.00-$236,600.000
