About the positions:

In the Technical Support team you will be in customer contact. We are looking for candidates who take ownership of their position, show responsibility and commitment. You are a problem-solver (a so-called 'doer'!) and a troubleshooter, and you work actively to find the best possible solution for varied problems. The position is centrally located in Madrid, and is part of the European Operations Center of Otovo. We are looking for colleagues who like to familiarize themselves with new tasks, take on challenges, and are motivated by being able to help further develop the team in Madrid.

Technical Support is a role that requires a good technical understanding and being confident of your ability to quickly acquire new knowledge about electrical installations, solar cell components and building technical assembly on roofs. The solar system's inverter is particularly important. You may encounter various error messages and have to dive deep into the customer's historical production data to find a solution. Together with the Customer Management team, you ensure that Otovo customers have a system that operates optimally during the entire lifetime of the solar system. In the role of Technical Support, the focus will be on progress in handling various technical requests, quality in delivery, while also preserving a good customer experience. Experience from similar technical support roles can be an advantage, but it is just as important that you have a strong will to learn, are meticulous and find solutions for our customers.




In addition to this, key roles will be:

  • Receive inquiries from customers, electricians and/or other experts regarding various problems with the customer's existing facilities - via chat, email and phone

  • Solve challenges related to the installations in a cost- and time-efficient way, either through own expertise, internal resources or through cooperation and good communication with an installation partner or colleague

  • Contribute to building knowledge articles for internal and external use

  • Work closely with other Otovo colleagues from the 13 markets where we are active in

This is what we think is you:

  • You have personal drive and are curious about new tasks and areas of responsibility

  • You have previous experience with customer support, preferably with tools such as CRM (Hubspot)

  • You will have previous experience from practical work as an electrician, or have knowledge about electrical systems

  • It is an advantage that you are interested in the green shift and want to learn more about solar energy

  • Some knowledge on SCADA monitoring as a good to have

As a minimum, you must:

  • Appreciate quality in work, and giving customers a good and safe experience

  • Able to handle several tasks at the same time, and continuously focus on the most important first

  • Communicate well, with customers and with colleagues in Madrid

  • Speak Spanish fluently, any other European language is a plus
