The Role
You’ll be an integral part of constellr’s diverse operations team, supporting the optimisation of the organisation as it grows and evolves. Working closely with all internal colleagues and third-party suppliers in connection with our IT demands. We’re looking for a smooth and compliant IT operation and digital infrastructure. Therefore, this role will require you to cover both daily device troubleshooting and strategic development of our IT privacy, security and cyber-security systems. Your role requires a broad technical understanding of various topics while keeping in mind the bigger picture to develop our future IT strategy and set-up. As our IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the following,
- The overall set-up, expansion and strategy behind constellr’s IT, security, and cybersecurity.
- Ownership, administration and monitoring of the entire constellr IT inventory including devices (Windows and Apple), licenses, tools & software, networks and infrastructure.
- In-house single point of contact for all 1st and 2nd level support and link to 3rd level support, management of all related external suppliers.
- Optimising existing operational IT processes including onboarding, security, access rights, user management
- Ensuring fail-safe operation, incl. procurement and configuration of new hard- and software
- Providing strategic guidance and operational support on internal projects including set up of payment systems, supporting BI integrations etc.
- Potentially recruiting, growing and leading a team responsible for constellr’s internal/external IT services.
Location – You will be based within a commutable distance of our office in Brussels, Belgium. We offer remote working and flexible working hours.
About you
Required:
- A motivated and detail-oriented team player, not afraid to question the status quo.
- Proven professional experience in hands-on IT and system administration with both, Windows and Apple devices
- Experience in implementing IT privacy, security, and cyber-security systems and policies.
- Great familiarity with the M365 Suite and complementary apps.
- Familiarity with Device Management, Group Policy Management, and Software Deployment via Azure AD and MS Intune.
- Demonstrable service-oriented approach to work, and experience of working within an ‘IT-as-a-service' team.
- Open-mindedness for new ideas and innovations, a finger on the pulse of the latest tools, infrastructure, and IT security regulations.
- An independent and solution-oriented way of working, initiative, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English
- Experience working in an internationally based team.
Nice to have:
- Experience managing and developing an IT / Cybersecurity team and understanding of the pitfalls to avoid when scaling.
- Experience with on-premise networks, network segregation, VLANs, VPN and security.
