We’re looking for an Asset Management Systems O&M Engineer with experience in the wind industry.
With over 1GW of renewable energy projects currently in operation, our client is one of the biggest players in the African energy game. They are looking for an engineer with a highly strategic mindset and a particular affinity for managing multiple WIND plants at a time.
Your experience with asset management has made you an expert in maturity alignment, the efficient scheduling of the logistics of spares or new plants, and scheduled preventative and reliability maintenance. Highly organised, your administrative capabilities are exceptional.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Standardised Business Processes and Tools:Â Developing and implementing standardised business processes and tools for O&M and supply chain across the portfolio
- AM/O&M Systems Development and Operations:Â Managing the development, implementation, and operation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for O&M and logistics
- Maintenance and Materials Management: Overseeing maintenance planning, equipment tree development, work planning & control, equipment lifecycle management, critical spares identification, and stores setup
- Interface Management: Acting as a key interface between the plant and Siemens for portfolio management of maintenance activities
- Logistics Coordination: Central coordination of logistics activities related to asset management and O&M
- Systems Implementations/Maintenance: Leading the implementation and ongoing maintenance of AM/O&M systems, including master data development, data migration, localization, training, and support
- Supply Chain - O&M Logistics: Managing parts master data, stock take processes, inventory and rotable management, material requirements planning (MRP), and providing first-line support for ERP/CMMS and business processes
- Supply Chain - O&M Procurement:Â Managing supplier/vendor relationships, foreign imports/exports, requests for quotation (RFQ), supplier selection, reporting, analysis, training, and coaching
