About the role

As member of the founding team, you will play a critical role in scaling Kopperfield’s sales function. In joining an early-stage startup, your objective will be to generate demo opportunities for Kopperfield’s software as well as iterate on the sales playbook that will scale our revenue engine. You will engage a high volume of prospects via outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach. You will provide insights to the rest of the team related to sales strategies and tactics.

Primary responsibilities

  • Build, qualify, and update a database of customer prospects in Kopperfield’s ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Engage prospects via email, cold calling, and social media with a goal to secure demos with qualified prospects.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Kopperfield’s products, customer problem statements, and ICP.
  • Drive quick iteration of the sales playbook by incorporating learnings from outreach and structuring A/B tests of customer profiles, outreach tactics, and messaging.
  • Handle a high volume of outbound communications to maximize demo bookings with qualified prospects.
  • Work with sales and marketing to enhance lead generation strategies, bringing innovative ideas and perspectives.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience; startup experience preferred.
  • A record of top performance in demo booking metrics.
  • Able to log, manage, and analyze lead data with minimal support.
  • Ability to stay driven and self-motivated in the face of rejection.
  • Experience with small-to-mid-sized electrical or HVAC contractors would be helpful but not required.
