Role PurposeAs Analytics Engineer, you will join the Data Platform team to support the development of Samsara’s Industrial AI Platform, collaborating with science, engineering, and computation teams across experiment, process modelling, and production data. As an Analytics Engineer you will develop the ontology, schema design, transformation and data quality foundations that turn raw data into trusted, model-ready datasets. Your focus will be building Samsara’s Unified Data Model – mapping core entities across Design, Bioengineering, Bioproduction, Technology Scale-up, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Analytics, and Operations – and delivering model-ready datasets to the Industrial AI Platform. Working from foundations in a fast-moving environment, leadership, comfort with uncertainty, adaptability, and iterative design will be essential.
