This role will focus on developing, structuring, investing, and managing large and complex investment opportunities for the Apollo platform, primarily our permanent capital base, with a strong emphasis on modeling, structuring, presentation, due diligence, tax/accounting skills, and background. The candidate will be an important addition to the team and will be involved in all stages of the investment process, including origination, structuring, execution, and the investment approval process. Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Working on structuring complex transactions, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling, credit analysis, legal/tax/accounting, and rating agency aspects</li><li>Developing financial models and stress cases to evaluate various financing structures and investment opportunities</li><li>Researching potential investment opportunities and performing related credit analysis</li><li>Preparing high-quality internal and external presentations for executive audiences</li><li>Preparing investment memorandums for the senior investment committee and firm leadership</li><li>Building and maintaining relationships with professional service providers and consultants (such as investment banks, boutique advisory firms, law firms, tax and accounting firms)</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>2-5 years of relevant experience at a major investment bank or alternative asset manager (preferred background: M&amp;A, investment banking)</li><li>Strong analytical and technical aptitude</li><li>Familiarity with working on structuring complex transactions to achieve the desired capital markets, tax, rating agency, and accounting objectives</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Team player with strong work ethic</li><li>Proactive self-starter with the ability to work and execute projects, coordinating across global and cross-platform teams</li><li>Exceptional Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; Bloomberg and other similar data platforms (FactSet, CapIQ)</li><li>At least a bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate institution</li></ul>Pay Range200000Apollo Global Management, Inc.
