If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Line Operator! This position will be based out of our Extrusion plant located in Kingman, AZ. Reporting to Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate extrusion machines and related equipment for the purposes of fittings production. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals. We have rotating day shifts from 7am-7pm and rotating night shifts from 7pm-7am available.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Safety: maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping.</li><li>Inspection activities that include using a PI table, micrometer and ovality gauges.</li><li>Efficiency in performing the inspection and quality process including skin testing and impact testing.</li><li>Detection and assisting in the resolutions pertaining to the quality of the product.</li><li>Investigating any product deemed non-conforming.</li><li>Adjust the extrusion process including but not limited to, wall thickness, barrel and die temperatures, and diameter adjustments.</li><li>Maintain maintenance on the line, including but not limited to, the cleaning of vents.</li><li>Collaborate and assist with production material trials and new products.</li><li>Monitor and maintain output and run conditions to specified standards.</li><li>Complete accurate documentation and quality requirements.</li><li>Other duties as delegated.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 18 years of age plus completion of high school education or equivalent.</li><li>Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift.</li><li>Successful candidate must complete a background check and drug screening</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.</li><li>Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.</li><li>Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401K plan with company matching up to 5%.</li><li>Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage options.</li><li>Basic safety equipment (i.e., safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided</li><li>8 paid holidays throughout the year</li><li>Annual plant bonus program</li></ul>Pay<ul><li>$20.62/hour</li></ul>IPEX is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that considers the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
