The role is broad by design: you will work on issues of a diverse and complex nature, spanning multiple jurisdictions and business functions in the UK, Portugal, France, Japan and the US. The key objectives of the Kaluza FinOps team are: <ul><li>Financial Control; to ensure resources are directed, monitored and measured in an accurate and timely manner and to maintain a ‘No Surprises Environment’</li><li>Value creation through more efficient processes and AI frameworks.  </li></ul>You will be the primary contact for internal teams on all finance operations matters, responsible for the smooth running of the function and for driving process improvements across our global teams.Key responsibilities:Financial reporting <ul><li>Month-end and year-end close management, including preparation of monthly management accounts and contribution to Board reporting packs.</li><li>Consolidation of Kaluza’s global results with meaningful analysis for the Board, Executive team and external stakeholders.</li><li>Balance sheet reconciliation review and preparation, including creation and maintenance of technical accounting papers under IFRS.</li><li>Managing and monitoring compliance across all international tax obligations, including VAT, payroll taxes and other employee-related taxes, working alongside the Tax Manager.</li><li>Preparation and review of workpapers for the annual statutory accounts;
