We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.</div>The Corporate Reliability Engineer is responsible for supporting and advancing reliability and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs across assigned regions. This role focuses on regional program execution, data analysis, coaching, auditing, and hands-on support of site maintenance and operations teams. The position serves as a technical reliability leader, bridging corporate standards and site-level execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Reliability &amp; CBM Support<ul><li>Support regional sites with continuous improvement of CBM programs including vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasound, thermography, UT, and wireless condition monitoring.</li><li>Analyze predictive data, identify trends, and provide clear, data-driven repair and risk-based maintenance recommendations.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting and validation of repairs through follow-up data collection and analysis.</li><li>Track work requests in CMMS/EAM systems based on asset criticality and condition findings.</li></ul>Standards, Processes &amp; Audits<ul><li>Promote and audit compliance with corporate reliability standards, OEM requirements, and MOC-approved modifications.</li><li>Audit CBM routes, procedures, PMs, lubrication programs, spare parts/BOMs, and documentation accuracy.</li><li>Provide feedback and corrective actions to ensure consistent execution across sites.</li><li>Support Management of Change (MOC) processes related to reliability strategies and asset modifications.</li></ul>Training, Coaching &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Train, mentor, and develop site CBM Technicians, Lubrication Technicians, and Maintenance personnel.</li><li>Coach site leadership on reliability fundamentals, risk-based decision making, and proper response to CBM findings.</li><li>Serve as a "boots-on-the-ground" reliability resource during site visits.</li><li>Collaborate with other Regional Engineers, Corporate Reliability, and site teams to share best practices.</li></ul>Program Management &amp; Vendor Support<ul><li>Assist with regional CBM program management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Coordinate contractor and vendor activities related to predictive technologies and data collection.</li><li>Stay current on reliability technologies, tools, and industry best practices.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Quality<ul><li>Champion corporate safety and quality expectations.</li><li>Identify, report, and escalate safety issues observed during site work and audits.</li><li>Ensure all reliability activities are conducted in accordance with safe work practices.</li></ul>Weekly / Ongoing Activities<ul><li>Travel to sites based on regional support needs.</li><li>Review predictive and wireless sensor data; issue findings and follow-ups.</li><li>Perform spot checks of CBM programs, routes, and technician execution.</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to close findings and confirm repair effectiveness.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities (KSAs)<ul><li>Strong reliability mindset focused on maintaining assets in OEM or MOC-approved condition.</li><li>Ability to translate condition data into actionable maintenance recommendations.</li><li>Proactive self-starter capable of advancing programs with minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead difficult, constructive conversations.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills within a matrixed organization.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS/EAM systems.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>4-7 years of experience</li><li>Experience in maintenance and reliability within asset-intensive, heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing environments.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with CBM technologies including vibration analysis and oil analysis.</li><li>Experience with RCA and FMEA.</li><li>ISO-certified Vibration Analyst Category II.</li></ul> Preferred / Desired Qualifications<ul><li>Certified Maintenance &amp; Reliability Professional (CMRP).</li><li>Machinery Lubrication Technician or Analyst (MLT/MLA Level I or higher).</li><li>Ultrasound Level I certification.</li><li>Thermography certification (preferred but not required).</li></ul>Travel RequirementsWillingness and ability to travel monthly; travel is a core function of the role.<div>This position is not eligible for visa support.EEO Statement Enviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
