The Director, Manufacturing Test is responsible for leading the company’s strategy and development efforts to ensure Enphase’s products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and team leader for the following test functions:<ul><li>Design verification – Confirm that a new product design meets requirements</li><li>Compliance – Certify that our products meet compliance standards</li><li>Reliability – Warrant product is reliable over its lifetime</li><li>Manufacturing – Ensure product is manufactured to the highest quality standards</li><li>System verification – Validate that Enphase products interoperate as a system</li></ul>The job consists of understanding the basic technology, understanding the needs of each of the groups and develop a test framework that can be used for all these functions with a maximum amount of reuse while fulfilling vastly different goals of the Enphase manufacturing test hardware and software to be deployed at Enphase’s various production facilities. Enphase’s products often carry relatively long warranty in the field, therefore our manufacturing process and test must support the quality required. This often results in unique product features, disciplined manufacturing processes, and rigorous testing.<ul><li>Leading and developing a team consisting of Electronics Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers and Engineering Technicians</li><li>Evaluating Marketing and Engineering Requirement Documents</li><li>Evaluating applicable standards for each product and designing test hardware to implement required routine testing required by them</li><li>Coordinating closely with the Mfg. SW Development Team to design and ensure a fault-tolerant test system</li><li>Maintaining, debugging and supporting the production facilities where the test systems are deployed</li><li>Documenting the test system design and developing a maintenance regime, including calibration, replacement schedule, repeatability test, etc.</li></ul>Who You Are and What You Bring:<ul><li>B.S./M.S. in Electrical or Systems Engineering, or other suitable educational background or work experience</li><li>15+ years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining test equipment and fixtures</li><li>Experience managing a large technical team including budgets and capital projects</li><li>Strong Python programming skills</li><li>Database experience</li><li>Expertise with power electronics</li><li>Mechanical design knowledge is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of battery chemistry and technology is a plus</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skill</li></ul>The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $205,200 and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity. </div></div>
