This role will provide ongoing system support while partnering with IT, Tax, Finance and other key stakeholders to drive continuous improvements and innovation across the tax technology landscape.  Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop deep business process expertise to identify and drive system and process efficiencies</li><li>Optimize tax platforms and integrations across systems, including OneSource, Global Next, Coupa, Pagero, CERTify Tax, and SAP S/4HANA (including SAP DRC)</li><li>Resolve complex and escalated issues within the tax systems landscape</li><li>Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and enhancements, working directly with Tax and Finance SMEs and technology partners</li><li>Review system release notes, assess impacts, and communicate required changes</li><li>Develop and execute test plans for user acceptance testing, regression testing, and defect resolution</li><li>Partner with integration teams to support and enhance system interfaces</li><li>Provide day-to-day system support and ensure optimal performance</li><li>Drive user adoption by improving system usability and experience</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for user inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution</li><li>Lead solution design for enhancements, defect fixes, and new business requirements</li><li>Apply functional tax knowledge to support operational processes such as purchasing, trade, invoicing, and payables</li><li>Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, tax experts, and technology teams</li><li>Influence upstream and downstream processes across functions and leadership levels</li><li>Develop and maintain reports and queries to support business needs and ensure data integrity</li><li>Prioritize and escalate issues to ensure prompt resolution</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between tax platforms and ERP/master data systems</li><li>Support global implementations of OneSource within broader SAP S/4HANA ERP programs and related systems</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tax, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field</li><li>Experience with OneSource or similar tax platforms in a technical or functional capacity (e.g., system owner, implementer, or administrator)</li><li>Strong understanding of tax and financial business processes</li><li>Experience supporting complex, multi-system environments and ERP integrations</li><li>Exposure to large-scale, phased technology implementations</li><li>Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Experience troubleshooting system issues and coordinating cross-functional resolutions</li><li>Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related tools</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail</li><li>Experience acting as a liaison between internal teams and external partners</li><li>Ability to translate between business and technical requirements</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Familiarity with compliance and governance controls</li></ul>#LI-HybridJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
