This role focuses on increasing high volume manufacturing of thermoplastic composite automotive parts. You will engage cross-functionally in a small team to safely and ethically satisfy customer demands, optimize workflows, reduce inconsistency, and help grow the product line. The right applicant brings 3-5 years of diverse hands-on manufacturing experience and enthusiasm for ongoing development.</p><h2>What you will get to do</h2><ul><li>Optimize manufacturing processes and workflow to boost efficiency, quality, reliability, and throughput</li><li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing tools</li><li>Build a process foundation that supports new product launches from concept through production</li><li>Analyze data to uncover opportunities for cost savings, process reliability, and quality improvements</li><li>Develop clear work instructions and process documentation and train affected personnel</li><li>Partner with engineers who compose product specifications to ensure manufacturability is built in from the earliest concept stages</li><li>Recommend, specify, and implement new equipment and tooling that advance our capabilities</li><li>Solve production challenges with creative engineering solutions</li><li>Drive safety, quality, and environmental responsibility across operations</li></ul><h2>What you bring to the team</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent background</li><li>3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience</li><li>Experience with SPC for process control and as an improvement tool</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)</li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management</li><li>Knowledge of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)</li><li>Familiarity with automotive manufacturing &amp; quality system tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA/GR&amp;R, and TPM</li><li>Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize various tasks</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis</li><li>Proficiency in Statistical Analysis Software, such as MiniTab or JMP</li><li>Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred</li></ul><h1>Salary</h1><p>$90,000-$130,000 depending on experience</p><h2><strong>The BIG payoff</strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><h2><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></h2><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
