We believe that the best way to solve complicated dynamic problems is collaboratively and respectfully.</p><h3>The ideal candidate has a proven track record of safety and hands-on experience performing general and preventive maintenance on office facility equipment, a working knowledge of robotic systems, proficiency with machine tools, experience with electrical repairs such as soldering and hot air rework, and strong competency with general computer systems.</h3><h3></h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><div style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"> </div><ul style=""><li><p style="">Partnering with engineers for PCB rework tasks such as soldering and hot air rework</p></li><li><p style="">Install and operate machine tools such as milling machines, lathes, 3D printers, band saws, drill presses, etc.</p></li><li><p style="">Organize and inventory facility assets</p></li><li><p style="">Partnering in planning and executing facility expansion efforts</p></li><li><p style="">Periodically inventory and maintain our development robotics</p></li><li><p style="">Oversee and support sub-contactors</p></li><li><p style="">Prioritize facility safety and flag concerns</p></li><li><p style="">Assemble robots (consisting of mechanical structures, electro-mechanical components, and wiring harnesses)</p></li><li><p style="">Perform component-level and assembly-level testing and diagnostics</p></li><li><p style="">Perform component-level calibration</p></li><li><p style="">Maintain component and lab inventories</p></li><li><p style="">Troubleshoot and repair robots using hardware and software tools, including board-level rework</p></li><li><p style="">Charge and care for battery packs</p></li><li><p style="">Perform firmware and software upgrades</p></li><li><p style="">Assist with onsite manufacturing activities</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul style=""><li><p style="">Associate’s degree (AA/AS) or technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field required</p></li><li><p style="">Minimum of 4 years of experience.</p></li><li><p style="">Training in safety practices and the ability to assess and mitigate worker risks</p></li><li><p style="">Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings</p></li><li><p style="">A team player with excellent communication skills.</p></li><li><p style="">Valid Class C license or ability to obtain one</p></li><li><p style="">Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs, safety climbing ladders, repetitively bending, and reaching hard-to-access parts while wearing appropriate PPE.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>What Makes You Stand Out</strong></h3><ul style=""><li><p style="">Experience in industrial environments is a plus.</p></li><li><p style="">Familiarity with local construction codes</p></li></ul>
