This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of clean energy policy, grid modernization, and technology. State Policy &amp; Regulatory Strategy Development<ul><li>Develop a comprehensive policy strategy for 1–2 U.S. states relevant to EnergyHub’s VPP programs</li><li>Research and summarize state legislation, regulatory proceedings, and utility filings related to DERs, demand response, and VPPs</li><li>Track gubernatorial, legislative, and regulatory elections and assess potential impacts on VPP policy and market opportunities</li><li>Identify and map key stakeholders, including regulators, utilities, policymakers, advocacy organizations, and industry groups</li><li>Produce a written strategy memo and supporting briefing materials for internal use</li></ul>2. Legislative Strategy Support (2027 and Beyond)<ul><li>Assist in drafting components of a longer-term legislative strategy for the 2027 legislative cycle</li><li>Analyze emerging policy trends at the state and federal level that may affect VPPs and DER markets</li><li>Support scenario planning and policy positioning based on anticipated political and regulatory shifts</li></ul>3.
