Here is what you will be doing:<ul><li>Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Associate Engineer, perform detailed designs involving, but not limited to bulk earthworks, water reticulation, pavement design, stormwater, sewerage, road geometry and cable ducts.</li><li>Modelling of civil engineering services in Civil 3D and Revit.</li><li>Specification, analysis and sizing of civil engineering equipment such as submersible pumps, interceptors and tanks.</li><li>Take responsibility for civil engineering design and drawings.</li><li>Be part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors.</li><li>Attend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections.</li><li>Independently manage projects of low complexity.</li><li>Work to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in civil engineering documentation such as reports, analysis and specifications.</li><li>Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal QA procedures for all design activities.</li><li>Assist with the compilation of bids and proposals.</li></ul>
