In this role, individuals will work directly with our Operations team, to design, troubleshoot, and repair our production equipment. The successful applicant will be comfortable with hands-on work as well as detailed mechanical design.<h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Develop novel solutions to challenging manufacturing problems</li><li>Collaborate with process and controls engineers in the start-up and debugging effort for manufacturing equipment and processes at new production sites</li><li>Design, modify, and troubleshoot equipment, lead equipment specification and design reviews</li><li>Develop novel solutions to challenging manufacturing problems</li><li>Be a champion for safety</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field preferred; equivalent industrial experience considered</li><li>3+ years of experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment</li><li>Experience troubleshooting and programming PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)</li><li>Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including motors, drives, sensors, HMIs, and industrial controls</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical documentation</li><li>Experience working cross-functionally with maintenance and operations teams to resolve equipment issues</li><li>Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability principles</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment </li></ul> <h3>Where you'll work: </h3>This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
