<div>We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a double-day shift pattern. In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment effectiveness and availability, supporting our production teams to achieve performance targets.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and company EHS policies.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen events.</li><li>Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and major repairs.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and maintenance history.</li><li>Provide operational cover for shift engineers when required.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with experience in a manufacturing setting.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot engineering systems.</li><li>Knowledge of CMMS platforms and lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Completed mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent.</li><li>HNC/HND qualification desirable.</li><li>Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus.</li><li>IPAF &amp; FLT training desirable.</li></ul></div>Benefits:☀ 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays) &amp; holiday purchase scheme💸 Life Assurance 6x annual salary🏥 Critical illness cover🏥Health and Dental Cash Plans📝 Pension contribution up to 10%👶 Enhanced parental leave👚 Great discounts on local retailers and restaurants🙌 Fantastic Health &amp; Wellbeing package including an Employee Assistance🚲 Cycle to work scheme😍 Plus many moreEqual Opportunity EmployerAliaxis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
