Here is what you will be doing:<ul><li>Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, perform detailed structural designs and calculations for structural systems in commercial and industrial fields for both reinforced concrete and structural steel type structures. </li><li>When required assist with Revit modelling. </li><li>Take responsibility for structural design and drawings. </li></ul><ul><li>Be part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors. </li></ul><ul><li>Attend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage less complicated projects </li></ul><ul><li>Work to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in structural documentation. </li></ul><ul><li>Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with the compilation of bids and proposals. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills  </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction </li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills </li></ul><ul><li>Good commercial awareness / risk management skills </li></ul><ul><li>Good planning and organizational skills </li></ul>
