Reimagine What’s Possible  Take the process &amp; process systems engineer role on bid opportunities &amp; projects executed from the Air Products working within ASU &amp; SVD or other industrial gas plants.Nature and ScopeThe job holder is the process system engineer (and Process engineer) in Korea Engineering team and reports directly to Engineering Manager. The primary accountability of the job is to bid and execute the process systems design of ASU &amp; SVD and other industrial gas projects with the most competitive offering, on budget and on schedule.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESParticipation in review of Process Flow Diagrams. Working within a multi-disciplined team to develop different revision P&amp;ID. Mark up P&amp;ID and check drafted P&amp;ID by graphics team. Develop Shutdown/Permissive/SNQ tables. Collect flowsheet change notes information and prepare change notes for multi-disciplines’ approval. Publish different revision P&amp;ID and Shutdown/Permissive/SNQ tables as necessary. Participating in / leading P&amp;ID review meetings (ORC, DHR) and managing the resolution of project technical issues. Participating in plant reliability, operability and hazard reviews. Working with the project team to ensure that the plant design is safe and in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. Liaise with other engineering disciplines to agree operational and interface details.  Take the initiative in resolving interface problems.  Identify areas where work processes could be developed or improved, and assist in implementing changes. Preparation of plant operating manuals and procedures. Do process calculation and specifications for ASU equipment, evaluate the performance and cost difference of various solutions or offerings from various vendors. (Process engineer) Provide on the job training and mentoring for less experienced engineers on a wide range of process design topics. Any other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor or above degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering majors. Demonstrated skills at applying chemical or mechanical engineering. Typically above 10 years working experience in design institute or relevant engineering field. Understanding of how the process and machinery works, operates, and start/stop. Should have an understanding of all aspects of process design in ASU &amp; SVD, and relevant process design methods for equipment and schedule items.  This includes vessels, exchangers, rotating equipment, and their plumbing requirements.  Should have good knowledge of control valve sizing and developing relief case scenarios and relief vale sizing. Must be familiar with the Global engineering organization, the function of each discipline, how they interact and the function of the various support groups. Proficiency in English written and oral communication. Good computer skills. Good coaching and leading skills.Team work and drive for result spirit.
