You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance services to utility energy storage equipment. Applicants should be self-motivated team players with a positive attitude.</div><div> </div><div>This role is first assigned to Energy Vault’s Cross Trail project in Snyder, Texas (Scurry County) for the first 6 months. After which time then assigned to the SOSA project near College Station, Texas (Madison County).</div><br><br><h3>Your Mission:</h3><ul><div><li>Perform scheduled preventative and unscheduled corrective maintenance activities on energy storage products to maintain warranty coverage and system availability for long-term servicing agreements.</li><li>Troubleshoot and promptly respond to system faults and outages.</li><li>Respond to corrective maintenance cases on energy storage products and update online case logs accurately. Conduct electrical testing and related diagnostics.</li><li>Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of all site work, fault resolutions, steps taken and replaced parts</li><li>Write and execute HV Switching programs, issue HV Access permits, monitor permit controls and perform maintenance on HV assets.</li><li>Adhere to site procedures, safety standards, local regulations and all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) best practices. Proactively enforce compliance to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.</li><li>Work closely with the Site Manager, Operations, Engineering Systems, and HSE teams. Energy Vault SA offers an energy storage technology utilizing fundamental principles of science to deliver a storage solution that's as compassionate to the planet as it is efficient to build and operate. The Energy Vault solution utilizes the same fundamentals of physics and kinetic energy as pumped hydro but replaces the water with custom made cylindrical blocks utilizing an extremely innovative use of low-cost materials. The system is modular and can be designed with a capacity of between 10 and 35MWh and a power output of up to 5MW. The system has been designed for a 30+ year life with no degradation in storage capacity.
