Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. Perform equipment modifications as necessary. Develop improvements to increase reliability of older equipment and increase performance of newer equipment.Main focus with Applied Materials Centura/Endura with Etch/CVD chambers, EVG wafer bonders, SEM, FIB, Oxford ALD. ASML stepper and Tel 8” Track systems. Working closely with production engineering to support current production and achieve new development design tasks.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform routine scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance</li><li>Collect data and perform analysis of required work</li><li>Identify technical problems and implement solutions as appropriate</li><li>Collaborating with team members on complex equipment issues to minimize equipment downtime</li><li>Troubleshooting problems</li><li>Maintain records and reports as required</li><li>Order and install parts</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls as required</li><li>Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed</li><li>Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company provided tools, equipment, etc.</li><li>Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, high voltage/high current, moving mechanical parts, high pressure gases, hazardous gases, radiation, etc.</li><li>Must maintain personal and professional standards of conduct</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to use intermediate math skills to analyze data</li><li>Ability and willingness to follow strict written operational guidelines</li><li>Excellent customer interface skills are required</li><li>Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and at heights</li><li>Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds</li><li>May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing</li><li>May require the use of personal protection equipment</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics</li><li>Must have strong mechanical aptitude</li><li>Prior experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and improvements.</li><li>Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities, PLC experience a plus</li><li>Knowledge of commonly used business and technical software</li></ul>Desired Background:<ul><li>Prior experience repairing equipment in a cleanroom environment</li><li>Minimum Education required High School Diploma</li><li>Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other related field of study or Military Equivalent preferred</li><li>Minimum five years’ experience including equipment troubleshooting, modifications and improvements in semiconductor type industry on vacuum deposition/etch systems, steppers, coaters and bonders.</li><li>Experience on Applied Materials Centura/Endura systems, ASML steppers, EVG bonders a plus</li></ul>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.  Salary Range: $62,800.00-$83,700.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
