Job Description:The Senior Director of Corporate Development will serve as a key leader in Nextpower’s growth strategy, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments. This individual will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, finance, legal, product, engineering, and operations teams to identify, evaluate, and execute inorganic growth opportunities.This is a high-visibility, high-impact role ideal for an experienced dealmaker with strong analytical, transactional, and cross-functional leadership skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Origination &amp; Strategy<ul><li>Contribute to the development of the company’s inorganic growth strategy in alignment with long-term corporate objectives</li><li>Proactively source, screen, and cultivate relationships with potential acquisition targets, investment opportunities, and strategic partners</li><li>Identify and quantify opportunities associated with emerging technologies, adjacent markets, and potential expansion vectors</li><li></li></ul>Financial Analysis &amp; Valuation<ul><li>Lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, and scenario planning for potential transactions</li><li>Conduct rigorous assessments of target financials, industry dynamics, synergies, and integration requirements</li><li>Prepare and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and the Board</li></ul>Transaction Execution &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Manage the end-to-end M&amp;A process from initial evaluation to closing</li><li>Suggest and implement M&amp;A process improvements</li><li>Structure transactions and negotiate key commercial terms in collaboration with executive leadership</li><li>Coordinate and oversee cross-functional due diligence, including key functional workstreams (financial, legal, operational, commercial, technical, HR, etc.)</li><li>Serve as the primary interface with internal and external legal counsel</li><li>Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of term sheets, letters of intent, purchase agreements, and ancillary documentation</li><li>Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders on deal structure, terms, and post-close requirements</li><li>Refine financial models throughout diligence process and support transition to operating business plans</li></ul>Integration &amp; Post-Close Support<ul><li>Partner with integration management office, business unit leaders, finance, and operations on integration planning</li><li>Support post-transaction performance monitoring and ensure realization of strategic and financial objectives</li></ul>Internal Leadership &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Communicate effectively with executive leadership regarding pipeline, deal progress, and strategic insights</li><li>Mentor and develop junior team members; contribute to building a world-class corporate development function</li></ul><ul></ul>Nextpower offers a comprehensive benefits package.
