This individual will be dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing site safety programs.</p><p>This position will focus on hazard identification, risk elimination and reduction, injury prevention, knowledge of construction, industrial processes, manufacturing equipment, industrial health and safety regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices.</p><p>Please note, this role is 100% onsite in Casa Grande, AZ. </p><p>You Will:</p><p>- Support day-to-day EHS Construction and Contractors activities and projects</p><p>- Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS Management System elements</p><p>- Review the project-specific safety manuals and documentation submitted by subcontractors</p><p>- Support the development of the Construction &amp; Contractor EHS Plan</p><p>- Coordinate safety orientation and activities of unit managers, facilitating the full implementation of the Project Site Specific Safety Plan</p><p>- Develop positive relationships with project management, contractors and trade workers</p><p>- Assist Lucid with the planning and hazard mitigation of identified high hazard/high risk contractor activities</p><p>- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and adherence to Lucid policies and procedures</p><p>- Assist with Job Hazard Analysis and other risk assessments tools</p><p>- Conduct field safety observations, audits, reporting and drive all solutions in the field</p><p>- Review work control permits examine job plans and specifications to determine if all safety precautions have been included</p><p>- Tour work area to inspect fire safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations</p><p>- Determine requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices</p><p>- Conduct and/or coordinate safety training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices</p><p>- Investigate accidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports (EHS Alerts / 8D Incident Investigations forms)</p><p>- Participate in and provide leadership to the Construction Emergency Response Team</p><p>- Audit contractors site performance and reduce risk with leading indicators</p><p>- Participate in communication strategies, such as safety meetings and notices to ensure relevant EHS information is communicated across the site</p><p>- Partner with other EHS functions (Manufacturing, Equipment Safety, Systems &amp; Tools, EHS Training) as needed to ensure effective service delivery</p><p>- Ability to support weekend and holiday season projects</p><p>You Bring:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety &amp; Health, Engineering, Construction or a related field</p><p>- Minimum 4 years work experience as Construction EHS professional, or EHS roles</p><p>- Experience supporting EHS program development, training all levels of personnel, and influencing/managing change to reduce risks</p><p>- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926, incident investigation methodology, and risk mitigation strategies</p><p>- Competency to create communications and plans to multiple levels of the organization with success</p><p>- Successful experience in contractor safety management</p><p>- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills</p><p>- Experience using EHS software, dashboards, or observation tools to drive performance</p><p>- Microsoft and 365 fluency is required</p><p>Preferred Skills and Qualifications:</p><p>- Construction-specific credentials, such as BCSP’s Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or OSHA Certified Safety &amp; Health Official (CSHO) in Construction</p><p>- Advance Training in Construction Management and Engineering</p><p> </p><p>Physical &amp; Work Conditions</p><p>- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions</p><p>- Frequent site visits and interaction with contractors</p><p>- Must be able to wear PPE and access elevated or confined spaces as needed</p><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
