Location: Hamburg/Lisbon (remote-friendly within Europe)We are looking for a Global Sales Manager to drive MicroHarvest’s growth in high-potential petfood markets. By building partnerships with petfood producers and distributors, you will make our sustainable protein a reality in products that feed millions of pets worldwide.You will work on an exciting opportunity to create impact: bringing sustainable, high-quality ingredients into the fast-growing petfood industry, and proving that natural fermentation can change what pets eat for the better.You’ll join a passionate, international team of entrepreneurs, scientists, and commercial leaders — all united by a mission to deliver better protein.<h2>Tasks</h2>What You’ll Do<ul><li>Open doors: Identify and connect with petfood producers, distributors, and brand partners.</li><li>Build partnerships: Engage with customers on how our products translate into clear business benefits.</li><li>Grow sales: Guide customers from first contact to signed deals, supported by our technical experts.</li><li>Further improve our value proposition: Work with our Marketing Team to create new compelling product presentations, samples, and campaigns.</li><li>Be the customer’s voice: Partner with our Head of Commercial, Operations, and I&amp;D to ensure customer needs translate into real product value.</li><li>Build actionable insights: Work closely with Business Intelligence to further shape our strategy, by tracking market trends and understanding customer needs.</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2>Who You Are<ul><li>Experienced in petfood or animal nutrition sales (2–4 years), ideally with a strong network.</li><li>Experienced in building relationships, closing deals and delivering customer value.</li><li>Able to translate product technicalities into clear business benefits.</li><li>Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.</li><li>Willing to travel (20–30%).</li><li>Excited to work at a startup pace: proactive, hands-on, and adaptable.</li><li>Driven by making a real-world impact with your career.</li></ul><h2>Benefits</h2>Why Join Us?At MicroHarvest, we’re not just another company.
