The Tender &amp; Proposal Engineer will review all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of internal support teams to ensure that all necessary information in included within Aggreko’s proposals.  Why Aggreko?<ul><li>Position will be based in Egypt or South Africa</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Industry-leading benefit plans including medical insurance</li><li>Continuous training and development with career growth opportunities</li><li>Safety-focused culture</li></ul>What you’ll do: <ul><li>Responsible for creating strategic approaches to managing and winning bids in response to requests for proposals from customers and on proactive pursuits.</li><li>To assess information required, coordinate internal inputs (including sub-contractors and joint partners), and ensure that the completed submission puts forward the best possible response in terms of completeness, appropriateness and that it demonstrates the best added value options to the purchaser.</li><li>To ensure that deadlines are met as well as manage graphic design and visual presentation of hard copy and digital versions of response documents.</li><li>He/she will be involved in every aspect of the submission and have an excellent appreciation of what the client needs and how best to articulate how Aggreko can provide that. He/she will work closely with a core team while bringing in subject matter experts when required.</li><li>To assist in managing the repository/library of documentation (company materials, credentials, and templates) that can be used by the AMEAPAC sales team in its bid responses (complex and simple) and in its customer interactions.</li><li>Aggreko place a strong emphasis on health, operational safety, and environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance with the Aggreko Health, Safety &amp; Environmental policies, operating procedures, and compliance with local legislation.</li></ul>You’ll have the following skills and experience:<ul><li>Fluent English (verbal and written) required.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferably engineering, finance or commercial</li><li>Over 5 years’ relevant experience of bid management preferably in an international environment</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li>Proposal management experience</li><li>Proven leadership and management experience and extensive sales experience</li><li>Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues who are often in different geographies/time zones.</li><li>Ability to analyse and question the numbers when appropriate and work comfortably in situations where there may be ambiguity over the data and where initiative will need to be shown to make appropriate assumptions.</li><li>Work under pressure to tight deadlines</li><li>Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including with executive-level staff.</li><li>Proficiency in Salesforce.com</li><li>Excellent writing and presentation skills</li><li>Excellent Planning &amp; Organization skills  </li></ul>Find out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
