Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them. Your role and responsibilities:As a Safety Engineer, your daily duties include but are not limited to:<ul><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Prepare Safety manual, emergency response plan, spill prevention plan &amp; fire fighting plan of Plant.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Observe work in progress, ensures that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Implementation of Hazard Identification &amp; Risk Assessment (HIRA)  at site.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Make recommendation for correction and follow up to ensure that violations have been corrected.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Review of Incident / Accident &amp; makes recommendation for prevention of similar future accidents.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Report Near miss</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Training of employees on safe work practices, Fire Fighting, emergency response plan First Aid.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Supervise Fire Drill at site.</li><li style="font-size:12.0pt;">Perform monthly inspection at site.</li></ul> Job location- Rawalpindi Why you and us:We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
