Through these services, we are enabling decision-makers and purchasers to make informed decisions, giving innovators a competitive edge, and helping to drive the development of leadership standards to create a framework for continuous improvement.Job Overview The Specialist I, Quality Assurance is responsible for monitoring compliance with corporate-level and program-specific policies and procedures to meet the internal and external requirements of SCS, as it continues to grow in size and complexity as a certification/verification/conformity assessment body, including expansion into international markets and to support for global programs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul> <li>Support the Quality Assurance department in developing and monitoring quality management systems, policies, and procedures to improve the efficacy and services delivery of the company, including international programs and affiliates</li> <li>Support Quality Assurance department in fostering the culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in the company</li> <li>Conduct internal audits and support external assessments for global programs, including coordination across multiple regions and time zones</li> <li>Support program personnel in developing functional program documentation that ensures Quality System compliance</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to program personnel prior to and during internal and accreditation/external audits</li> <li>Support coordination and facilitation of external assessments with various accreditation bodies</li> <li>Support management of the Internal Audit Portal to ensure that programs address and follow up on internal and external findings</li> <li>Support facilitation of complaints and appeals process</li> <li>Support the developing of tools and systems for greater efficiency of QA processes across global operations</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to program personnel in diverse cultural and regulatory environments</li> <li>Support and facilitate communication and collaboration with international teams, partners, and accreditation bodies</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or</li> <li>Equivalent relevant professional experience and</li> <li>2+ years of professional experience in a relevant field</li> <li>Excellent organizational, writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and learn quickly</li> <li>Initiative and ability to handle multiple, concurrent projects and work independently; responsive and adaptive</li> <li>Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint with proficiency in other programs and database management systems</li> <li>Strong understanding of third-party certification initiatives</li> <li>Excellent technical writing skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul> <li>Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese</li> <li>Experience supporting remote and distributed teams globally</li> <li>Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills</li> <li>Understanding of international regulatory and compliance frameworks</li></ul>The above description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
