Compliance Specialist - ITC- Field

We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.&nbsp;Summary: The Compliance Specialist – ITC - Field will play a critical role in supporting our project teams, and construction support departments, to ensure excellence in all aspects of execution on ITC projects.&nbsp; &nbsp;As a key component of our ITC Compliance Team, this role will act as administrator for all ITC documentation for our project sites and be responsible for coordinating and ensuring appropriate and efficient communication and action.&nbsp; Ensuring the eligible labour hours on each project are checked and verified as well as timely reporting of apprentice hours is a key aspect to the role. &nbsp;Requirements:<ul><li>Acts as the single point of contact for all ITC labour compliance on our projects and effectively works with team members from Construction, Subcontractors, Legal, Payroll, Apprenticeship, Compliance, and others to ensure communication and resolve any challenges at the project level.</li><li>Coordinates with site teams to ensure proper subcontractor management.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitors Subcontractor certified payroll submissions and apprentice percentage based on their contract.</li><li>Functions as the primary contact for management, project teams, subcontractors, and workforce agencies for ITC apprenticeship and certified payroll questions.</li><li>Creates reports and delivers updates to management on a regular basis.</li><li>Serves as a liaison and provides program recommendations to the site management team to drive successful compliance within the construction for ITC compliance.</li><li>Ensures that projects remain ITC compliant through collaboration with both the project (including subcontractors) teams.</li><li>Manages internal Audits and reports on a per-project basis, which includes apprentice metrics, ratios, apprentice hours, subcontractor information, certified payroll submissions and more.</li><li>Supports delivery of documents with clients and compliance requests.</li><li>Attends project specific meetings and communicates out to ITC site Leadership as appropriate.</li><li>Assists other ITC Compliance Team members in problem resolution, as necessary.</li><li>Stays up to date on industry standards, regulations and compliance requirements.</li><li>Supports ITC training for ITC site teams and sub-contractors.</li><li>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</li><li>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies &amp; Procedures.</li><li>Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</li><li>Engages in continuous improvement opportunities and evaluates/implements ways to better communicate cross functionally.</li><li>Ensures growth and development with RES and its core values.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Safety:<ul><li>Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.&nbsp;Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.</li><li>Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.</li><li>Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.</li><li>Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.</li><li>Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent degree, or military/education/relevant work experience combination, required.</li><li>3+ years experience in a Compliance Programs, required.</li><li>Domestic Travel 16-30% required.</li><li>Valid Driver’s License, required.</li><li>Oral and written skills to include: Clear and concise technical writing </li><li>Ability to communicate issues internally with reporting manager and team to present possible solutions.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills</li><li>Experience in compliance programs preferred.</li><li>Experience working with Prevailing Wage Projects preferred.</li><li>Experience with registered Apprenticeship programs preferred</li><li>Effective communication skills across a diverse group</li><li>Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) with data analysis and reporting background in Excel</li><li>Proficiency of office practices, procedures, and equipment</li><li>Experience working with the Investment Tax credit program preferred</li><li>Classroom training facilitation experience preferred</li><li>Functional competencies include attention to detail, teamwork, responsibility/stewardship, managing vision and purpose, and ethics &amp; integrity </li></ul>&nbsp;Anticipated base salary range:&nbsp; $64,000 - $80,000&nbsp;The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.&nbsp;RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
