You’ll be expected to make informed, complex design decisions and deliver high-quality solutions that meet demanding project requirements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the mechanical design process across the full product lifecycle.</li><li>Identify and evaluate technologies and solutions to meet functional and performance requirements.</li><li>Develop and deliver robust mechanical designs aligned with project goals.</li><li>Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.</li><li>Apply best-practice design techniques including simulation, DFMEA, DfM, and GD&amp;T to ensure product quality.</li><li>Prepare and execute verification and validation test plans, including hands-on testing and analysis.</li><li>Manage design activities to meet project timelines and budget constraints.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Hardware, Software, and Compliance.</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>A degree (BSc/BEng or higher) in Mechanical Design Engineering.</li><li>Proven experience in a mechanical design role, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing environment.</li><li>Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawing creation.</li><li>Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, injection moulding, and machining.</li><li>Strong understanding of design for quality and design for manufacture principles.</li><li>Experience designing for harsh environments, including sealing, corrosion resistance, and vibration mitigation.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>Willingness to work onsite with the team at least 4 days per week.</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.</li></ul>This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations).
