This role also supports customs compliance activities and serves as a backup for import and export shipments.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Analyze inbound transportation data to support production transportation planning, shipment prioritization, and capacity alignment.</li><li>Support planning and execution of ad-hoc inbound and outbound shipments.</li><li>Partner with Inventory Planners to align transportation plans with material availability, production schedules, and build priorities.</li><li>Assess supplier shipping readiness by reviewing lead times, documentation completeness, and historical performance data.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely shipment data in SAP Transportation Management (TM) to ensure end-to-end visibility and reliable reporting.</li><li>Monitor in-transit shipments and analyze risks or trends that may impact delivery performance or production continuity.</li><li>Collect, validate, and analyze transportation KPIs (on-time delivery, lead time variance, cost, supplier compliance).</li><li>Support freight spend analysis, lane performance reviews, and carrier performance reporting.</li><li>Identify data gaps, process inefficiencies, and system issues impacting transportation planning or visibility.</li><li>Assist in developing dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision-making.</li><li>Support import and export compliance activities through data validation, documentation review, and serving as a backup for import and export-related shipments.</li><li>Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal compliance teams to ensure accurate data submission and regulatory adherence.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on transportation analytics, data quality, and planning effectiveness.</li><div><br></div><div><b>Travel</b>: up to 25% may be required (including international travel)</div></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in transportation analytics, logistics planning, or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing or production environment.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transportation data and translate it into actionable insights.</li><li>Experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM) or similar transportation systems.</li><li>Experience with inbound transportation processes, carrier management, and shipment lifecycle.</li><li>Knowledge of freight spend modeling, lane optimization, or carrier scorecarding.</li><li>Experience with import/export and customs compliance.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting production or manufacturing planning teams.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA integration and master data concepts.</li><li>Experience building dashboards or automated reports (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools).</li><li>Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.</li><li>Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering</li></ul><br>
