Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Collections: maintain relevant systems, collection calls, and invoice logs with status updates, identify delinquent accounts, following up with customers on past due invoices, and reporting to stake holders on collections status. Work disputes, investigate and initiate queries with customers in a timely manner to resolve unpaid balances.</li><li>Able to jointly work with the commercial/sales area to achieve organizational targets.</li><li>Reconciliation of bank account, cash application: posting and reconciling of AR transactions.</li><li>Responsible for the application of checks, wire transfers payments, credit card payments, identify and correct the differences between the bank reports and the company’s subledger daily, avoiding reconciliation issues at the end of the month.</li><li>Prepares aging reports, issues, and analysis of AR accounts.</li><li>Prepare and lead meetings with business unit’s representatives as needed.</li><li>Handles month-end AR closing activities accurate and in a timely manner.</li><li>Provide documentation/reports to auditors for local accounting.</li><li>Participate in internal audits and perform other related duties as assigned.</li><li>Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.</li><li>Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 2+ years job experience as AR analyst/ Clerk or related role in a professional environment. Preferable with Shared Services experience.</li><li>Accounting Technician, Private Accountant or currently studying a career in finance or accounting field.</li><li>English skills of 90% (oral, written &amp; comprehension).</li><li>Plus, Portugues.</li><li>Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).</li><li>Highly preferred ERP (SAP) &amp; AR (collections) web portals/tools.</li><li>Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage multiple deadlines &amp; targets.</li><li>Strong Customer service orientation, proactive, working with minimal supervision and results oriented.</li><li>Comfortable in a fast pace and highly automated environment and ability to drive continuous process improvements.</li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
