AECOM North Bay is looking for a Highway Design Engineer to add to its growing team. This position is for a newly created position.Reporting to our Project Manager, Transportation, North Bay and working alongside other Engineers / Planners / Technical Specialists, your primary responsibilities for transportation projects will include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Providing engineering support as part of our Team in the preparation of design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for provincial / municipal road work;</li><li>Overseeing the preparation of designs using computer design tools (e.g. CAD, transportation software);</li><li>Conducting and / or attending client and public meetings;</li><li>Assisting in the preparation or administration of correspondence, engineering reports, and specifications;</li><li>Liaising with clients and subconsultants;</li><li>Providing technical guidance and mentoring for junior staff;</li><li>Successfully managing project schedule(s), finances, quality and health and safety;</li><li>Assisting with business development activities such as proposals;</li><li>Performing a wide range of additional duties intended to support your growth and development within a transportation engineering environment; and,</li><li>Providing Quality Management reviews by ensuring corporate policies are followed and documented.</li></ul> <ul><li> </li></ul>
