The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Test Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for test stations, including power distribution, signal routing, safety interlocks, and instrumentation interfaces. Main Responsibilities <ul><li> Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for test station interface boards and signal conditioning.</li><li>Design power distribution, safety interlocks, and emergency stop circuits in compliance with safety requirements.</li><li>Implement signal routing and switching architectures between instrumentation and the device under test (DUT).</li><li>Collaborate with the system architect and fixture experts to ensure electrical compatibility and requirements across the platform.</li><li>Generate BOMs, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.</li><li>Support troubleshooting and debugging during integration and validation phases. </li></ul>Key Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.</li><li>Be legally authorized to work as an Engineer or is eligible to be registered as an Engineer in Québec, or has an equivalent of an Engineering license recognized by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. </li><li>Experience designing power distribution and safety interlock circuits.</li><li>Experience with signal routing and electrical part selection.</li><li>Experience wiring diagrams, creating BOMs and assembly documentation.</li><li>Experience with Solidworks Electrical and Altium Designer.</li><li>Proficiency with electrical testing tools, including scopes, network analyzers, etc.</li><li>Experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.</li><li>Experience meeting UL508 requirements.</li></ul> Bonus skills<ul><li>Bilingual English and French written and spoken. </li><li>Experience with EV charging, Solar Energy and Battery systems.</li></ul> Profile<ul><li>Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.</li><li>Knowledge of high-voltage safety design practices.</li><li>Understanding of ATE instrumentation interfaces and signal conditioning.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial wiring standards.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality.</li><li>Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.</li><li>Effective team player with clear communication.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset, result oriented and strong EQ.</li><li>Autonomous, good teammate with strong problem-solving skills. </li></ul> What's in it for you<ul><li>Be part of a company that is backed by numerous globally respected investors and has world-changing patents in an industry changing for the first time in history.</li><li>Grow your professional experience amongst blue chip partners and a close-knit team of committed and experienced energy experts who deeply care about the work they do.</li><li>Employees are offered a full benefits plan including health insurance, virtual healthcare, employee stock option plan, sustainability initiatives, and flexible working hours.
