You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the medical education program strategy within the Medical Science Team. WHAT YOU WILL DO<ul><li>Develop the medical education program strategy aligned with the broader medical science team plans.</li><li>Identify, prioritize, and engage with nutrition experts, HCPs, and thought leaders in the field of medical nutrition, in collaboration with the Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).</li><li>Develop and execute the key opinion leader (KOL) medical engagement strategy in alignment with the educational needs of the HCPs and accounts we serve. Built in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Sciences, under the direction of the Director, MSL<a></a> .</li><li>Partner with the MSLs to develop and manage long-term KOL relationships that support the scientific amplification of medical nutrition therapy.</li><li>Organize KOL participation in medical advisory boards, professional society conferences, roundtable discussions, and expert panels with respect to medical nutrition.</li><li>Manage end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of KOL medical education programs (live &amp; virtual) in collaboration with the Medical Education Coordinator (MEC) and MSL team.</li><li>Participate in medical conferences, symposia, and other scientific events to enhance knowledge and build relationships with healthcare professionals.</li><li>Ensure all KOL and MSL activities and materials comply with external regulatory requirements and internal compliance guidance.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date documentation and records in conjunction with the MEC, for audit readiness.</li><li>Monitor trends, competitive landscape, and emerging research in the field of nutrition to inform KOL medical engagement strategy and support innovation.</li></ul>WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH<ul><li>An advanced scientific degree (MS, DCN, PharmD, PhD, or MD) with 5+ years in nutrition science; active RD or RN credential, with advanced certifications (CNSC, RD-AP, CSP, CSO, etc.) preferred.</li><li>Experience in KOL management or a similar industry-facing medical/nutrition role.</li></ul>·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to network and build professional relationships with healthcare professionals, internal stakeholders, and customers.<ul><li>Strong clinical, scientific, and business acumen with proven problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Understanding that approximately 30% travel is required, depending on geography (including overnight and occasional weekend travel).</li><li>Keen listening skills with the ability to follow up effectively and diplomatically with all staffing levels and customers.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with field medical-related technology and platforms (e.g., Veeva, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications).</li><li>Excellent ability to network, strong personal integrity, collaborative mindset, and a strong customer focus. </li><li>A vehicle maintained in good working order, current, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance documentation.  </li><li>Strong commitment to company mission and values. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. </li><li>Ability to respectfully share and accept feedback from all levels of the organization. </li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
