This role will interface with individual buyers and the European Supplier Quality and Development team. This position will report to the SQ&amp;D EMEAI Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Drive the maintenance and implementation of standard work procedures and business processes at supplier locations.</li><li>Identify gaps and improvement areas in collaboration with our supply chain partners</li><li>Validate supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems.</li><li>Address short term performance issues through 8D/SCAR and rapid containment levels</li><li>Apply tools from lean principal methodology to drive continuous improvement efforts related to business processes.</li><li>Lead supplier performance improvement plans (S-PIP).</li><li>Participate to the weekly, monthly, and yearly meeting and projects of SQ&amp;D EMEAI department, present ideas, and solicit feedback to help support individual or team project assignments.</li><li>Lead/participate in launch readiness programs and supplier on-boarding process.</li><li>Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.</li><li>Lead/participate in both NPD and supplier PPAP validation.</li><li>Manage approval process of new supplier.</li><li>Audit New Supplier and make recommendation.</li><li>Support supplier selection strategies.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field</li><li>5-plus years of experience in specific areas of Quality and/or supply chain management</li><li>Supplier quality experience in industrial environment is mandatory for this position</li><li>Ability to travel up to 50%, with approximately 75% being local travel and 25% within Europe</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Project Management Professional Certification</li><li>Prior supply management leadership experience</li><li>Prior project management experience</li><li>Understanding of operations</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate.</li><li>Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution</li><li>Understanding of fundamental business principles and practices</li><li>Knowledge and application of Supply Management Processes and tools</li><li>Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings including GD&amp;T</li><li>Interpret welding symbols and understand heavy-fabrication processes</li><li>Ability to use and create Power BI dashboards</li></ul><div>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodation to job applicants with disabilities.
