This is a field based position that will require regular travel to operate in remote sites. Flight Operations:<ul><li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and flight training programs to ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times</li><li>Follow instructions to comply with relevant regulations, including FAA guidelines (or local aviation authority)</li></ul>Planning and Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate with the team to plan and conduct UAS Inspection activities in alignment with project requirements, schedules, and data collection objectives.</li><li>Must be able to conduct CRM when working in a team atmosphere </li></ul>Maintenance and Troubleshooting:<ul><li>When conducting flight duties, complete or assist with:<ul><li>Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on UAS components, including airframes, propulsion systems, electronics, and sensors, to ensure they are in operational condition.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on UAS to prevent malfunctions and optimize system performance.</li><li>Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to UAS hardware and software, repairing or replacing faulty parts as permitted or required.</li><li>Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs and component replacements.</li></ul></li></ul>Safety and Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure all flights comply with relevant regulations, including FAA guidelines (or local aviation authority), and adhere to company safety protocols.</li><li>Review and follow safety procedures before, during, and after flights, including pre-flight inspections and post-flight debriefs.</li><li>Work with safety officers to report and analyze any safety incidents or near-misses to improve future flight operations.</li></ul>Documentation and Reporting:<ul><li>Maintain, update and ensure individual operational logs, maintenance activities, mission data, issue and quality reporting have been completed in accordance with Infravision and/ or regulatory requirements.</li><li>Coordinate with data analysts and other stakeholders to deliver actionable insights from flight operations and collected data.</li></ul>What we are looking forRequired Qualifications and Experience<ul><li>Certification as a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC), FAA Part 107</li><li>Proven experience operating unmanned aircraft, including pre-flight planning, flight execution, and data capture operations..</li><li>Strong understanding of UAS technology, including hardware (e.g., motors, sensors, cameras) and software (e.g., flight control systems, data analysis platforms).</li><li>Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of UAS systems and components.</li><li>Familiarity with airspace regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Proven ability to lead, manage, mentor and train UAS pilots and supporting team members.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and resolve technical issues promptly.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. </li></ul>Highly Desirable Qualifications and ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with DJI Enterprise Aircraft as well as Blue UAS (DJI Matrice &amp; Mavic Series. Freefly/ skydio experience huge plus)</li><li>Prior military or commercial UAS operations experience.</li><li>500 Hours of T &amp; D Manual Flight Operations experience (visual inspection of power structures near energized equipment)</li><li>Drone Harmony Inspection Software and GIS software alike</li><li>Must have Off road Driving Experience</li><li>2 years of Drone Photography or Photography Experience </li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Field operations in a variety of environments, including remote locations, urban areas, and potentially hazardous conditions.</li><li>Regular travel is required for project execution,mission support, equipment inspections and staging, or project needs.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry UAS equipment and tools.</li><li>Comfort working in outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for mission requirements.  </li></ul>Next StepsClick on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Infravision team today.
