This role will report directly to the VP of Finance and be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.  Responsibilities <ul><li>Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments </li></ul><ul><li>Perform month-end and year-end close processes </li></ul><ul><li>Generate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders </li></ul><ul><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes </li></ul><ul><li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with auditors  </li></ul><ul><li>Identify process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy </li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field </li></ul><ul><li>3+ years of work experience in accounting </li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li></ul>Preferred:   <ul><li>Experience in manufacturing or construction industry </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with project finance and special purpose entities </li></ul><ul><li>Experience managing grant funding and compliance </li></ul><ul><li>Experience conducting or participating in audits </li></ul><ul><li>CPA or progress toward CPA </li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Base salary: $70,000 - $110,000 </li></ul><ul><li>Stock options </li></ul><ul><li>Flexible PTO </li></ul><ul><li>Paid parental leave </li></ul><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision </li></ul><ul><li>401k </li></ul>Location <ul><li>Fully remote; we are a remote first organization </li></ul><ul><li>Must live in and be authorized to work in the United States </li></ul>
