As part of our fabrication and welding team, you’ll help build custom machinery, industrial equipment, structural assemblies, process skids, and high-precision components that support customers across energy, chemical, food, glass, aerospace, clean tech, and more.If you enjoy hands-on craftsmanship, continuous learning, and being part of a mission-driven company, this role is for you.Who we are looking forYou will thrive at Re:Build Optimation if you:<ul><li>Take pride in your welding craft and enjoy producing clean, structurally sound welds.</li><li>Appreciate working in a safe, organized, and team-oriented fabrication environment.</li><li>Are eager to learn advanced welding, fabrication, and metalworking techniques.</li><li>Enjoy working on a wide variety of custom projects — every day looks different.</li><li>Want a long-term career with clear skill-based progression from L1 through L5.</li><li>Value being part of a company that invests in your growth, your community, and your future.</li><li>Embrace responsibility, collaboration, and craftsmanship.</li></ul>What You Get to Do(L1–L5 responsibilities increase with skill and experience)<ul><li>Perform basic MIG and stick welds in flat and horizontal positions under supervision.</li><li>Assist with setting up and operating welding machines, fixtures, and fabrication tools.</li><li>Support layout, fit-up, and tack welding using basic shop drawings and weld symbols.</li><li>Help prep and align pipe, tube, and structural materials; observe stainless steel processes.</li><li>Participate in visual weld inspections and learn to identify common weld defects.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OSHA, 5S, and company safety procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, engineers, and project teams on diverse work.</li><li>Progress to more advanced welding (vertical, overhead, TIG, stainless, pressure, etc.) as you move up levels.</li></ul>What You Will Bring to the Team<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent experience required.</li><li>Completion of a recognized welding program or apprenticeship.</li><li>Basic knowledge of welding tools, procedures, and safety practices.</li><li>Proven skill in welding in flat and horizontal positions.</li><li>Capability to comprehend and adhere to basic shop schematics.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and grow in advanced welding and fabrication techniques.</li></ul>The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $55.00. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans.
