About this role The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of all construction activities on a renewable energy project construction site. This role involves monitoring construction processes, conducting inspections, and enforcing quality standards to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects. The Quality Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and performance of the construction work. Location: Various Site Locations  Duties and responsibilities  On-Site Representation <ul><li>Act as the primary on-site representative for the employer in terms of quality control, ensuring that all project activities meet the required quality standards.</li><li>Maintain close communication with the EPC contractor to monitor the development and implementation of the QMS and Quality Plan.</li></ul> Quality Oversight <ul><li>Oversee the contractor’s quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications.</li><li>Identify and report on any quality issues or non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution by the EPC contractor/s.</li></ul> Documentation and Reporting <ul><li>Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of all quality-related activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.</li><li>Provide regular quality status reports to the employer’s project management team, highlighting any risks or issues that may impact project quality.</li></ul> Stakeholder Coordination<ul><li>Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on quality expectations.</li><li>Facilitate quality-related meetings and workshops, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence on-site.</li></ul> Risk Management <ul><li>Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.</li><li>Ensure that all quality-related risks are documented and communicated to the employer’s project management team.</li></ul> Required skills and education background. <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in on-site quality management within the renewable energy sector, preferably on EPC projects.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing quality assurance and quality control on large-scale construction projects.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues proactively.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a plus.</li></ul> Desirable attributes The ideal candidate would have a passion for the Renewable Energy sector and personality traits would include a high level of diligence, determination, resilience, and agility. Mulilo is an employer of choice and is offering an extremely competitive total remuneration package for this position. Additional Information  Able to work overtime according to operational needs.</div>
