<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost estimations, efficient project planning, and effective contract administration for various construction projects.</p><ul><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment</li><li>Develop and analyze bills of quantities for tender documentation</li><li>Review and evaluate tender submissions from contractors</li><li>Assist in the preparation of contract documents and procurement strategies</li><li>Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs</li><li>Collaborate with design teams to ensure cost-effective solutions</li><li>Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve favorable terms</li><li>Undertake quantity measurement for inclusion in cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities</li><li>Implement, maintain, and monitor cost control procedures throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Provide input and support in the preparation and assessment of financial claims</li><li>Evaluate variations, additions, and omissions, and incorporate findings into monthly cost reports</li><li>Prepare, process, and negotiate change orders with clients and contractors</li><li>Conduct market testing and analyze tender returns to support rate benchmarking</li><li>Update and maintain the cost database for future reference</li></ul>
