To help us achieve our ongoing global ambitions, we require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Finance Assistant to join our growing APAC Finance Team.<h2>The Role</h2>In line with the continued growth of our business, we are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant, to be based in our Chennai office to support our APAC Finance Team.The successful candidate will be highly detail oriented, organised with strong multitasking abilities and collaborative. Across their work they will continually ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks.Key duties will include:• Accounts payable duties including entering supplier invoices into the system, preparation of payment runs, supplier queries and ensuring all regulatory requirements have been met.• Accounts receivable duties including preparation of progress billings, data entry and cash receipting.• Debt collection.• End of month duties including maintenance of the asset register, depreciation, prepayments, accruals, ad hoc journal and general ledger reporting.• Liaise with our payroll company and approve the payroll.• Liaise with our tax agent and assist with GST returns.• Assistance with preparing documentation for financial and tax audits.• Assist Project Managers with the maintenance of projects in our system, including claiming revenue and closing projects.• Liaise with the relevant local authorities on any matters that arise.• Administrative assistance including new starter inductions and travel bookings. <h2>The Skills</h2>Having gained demonstrable knowledge and at least 5-7 years of relevant experience of accounts related duties within a fast-paced, complex environment, you are also familiar with providing a range of administrative support to a high standard, and on a pro-active basis. You possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively as part of a Finance Team.You are highly organised, take a proactive approach to your work and can work to tight deadlines – making use of your initiative, self-motivation and effective communication skills.Your career at CundallWe know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
