Technician is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and documenting component tests to support customer requirements, market research, and product qualification efforts. Working closely with Product Engineering teams within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on oil seals for general industry and automotive applications, this role ensures accurate and reliable test data that informs product performance and development. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Preparing and configuring test equipment and fixtures for a variety of component evaluations.</li><li>Using mechanic knowledge and experience to install oil seals into testing rigs to create testing conditions according to customer requirements.</li><li>Using ladder logic to program testing parameters.</li><li>Conducting tests according to defined procedures and standards.</li><li>Monitoring test progress and record detailed data and observations.</li><li>Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to interpret results and support reporting.</li><li>Maintaining lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1>Technical background, experience in mechanical testing or laboratory work, and/or previous experience in mechanical fields. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to follow procedures and work independently. Familiarity with industrial or automotive components is a plus.High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree. High level of commitment and flexibility. Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position.
