This person will be responsible for leading and coordinating workshop activities involving stainless-steel component fabrication, utilizing technical drawings to guide layout, cutting, welding, and finishing processes and ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are met.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and prioritize tasks for workshop team.</li><li>Attend production meetings and maintain positive work environment.</li><li>Train and mentor team members.</li><li>Conduct daily meetings for instruction and communication.</li><li>Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments for seamless production.</li><li>Monitor and optimize team efficiency.</li><li>Uphold safety practices and regulations.</li><li>Actively participate in workshop projects.</li><li>Drive productivity improvements.</li><li>Maintain positive attitude and safety culture.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsQualifications:<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>3+ years of hand welding experience; mig &amp; tig required.</li><li>Welding certification highly preferred.</li><li>Proficient in blueprint reading.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and lead projects.</li><li>Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.</li><li>Flexible to work across workshop departments.</li><li>Capable of workshop shutdown/startup procedures.</li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $25.00 - $36.00 per hour.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
