The role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality execution and strategic program oversight. &nbsp;The Program Manager will manage multiple projects within the scope of a customer account or surrounding region and will have oversight responsibilities for matrixed project teams that involve multiple projects and assigned resources. &nbsp;Significant time will be spent working closely with the customer to develop program schedules, program management plans, deployment plans, materials forecasts and other plans.&nbsp; The role requires significant leadership and will be seen as a leader and proven mentor as well as someone who is a trusted, collaborative partner with our customers while managing customer expectations.&nbsp; This position may require direct supervision of staff, including project managers and other project team members.&nbsp;Candidates located in Milwaukee, WI, or Chicago, IL, are preferred due to frequent travel requirements within the region.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to members of the program team</li><li>Acts as the principal customer interface and widely recognized as a trusted, collaborative partner with the customer and other stakeholders</li><li>Proven leader capable of communicating complex technical details to a wide variety of customer stakeholder groups</li><li>Conduct periodic performance reviews of program team and provide feedback</li><li>Lead and direct resources to fulfill all contractual obligations, performance levels, and service levels for one or more complex customer programs.</li><li>As part of some program projects, responsibilities may Include the management of one or more project subcontractors.</li><li>Initiate, plan, execute, control, ensure final customer acceptance of assigned customer programs</li><li>Coordinate all the activities of the team and indirect support resources to ensure all aspects of the project are managed exceptionally well and quality deliverables are produced and agreed upon with program stakeholders</li><li>Maintain project updates to Landis+Gyr's Project Portfolio Management Tool (currently ServiceNow, training will be provided)</li><li>Drive issues to resolution independently or via other company resources and manage customer expectations appropriately</li><li>Responsible for reporting and controlling the financial health of programs including budgeting and forecasting</li><li>Manage a program's scope, schedule, and cost while managing risk</li><li>Ensure all internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Operations, Product Management Office, executives) are apprised of status, KPIs, issues, and risks and are aligned and fully engaged with the program</li><li>Represent the company in a professional manner in sales activities</li><li>Perform other tasks or requests as required</li></ul>Company Values<ul><li>Supports and adheres to Company’s core values. </li><li>Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required. </li><li>Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. </li><li>Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.</li></ul>&nbsp;Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.&nbsp;The ability to coordinate, schedule and prioritize the activities of the Supervisors/leads and other personnel within the scope of the contract team and involved in complex and multi-discipline activities is a must.</li><li>Individual must be fluent in project management software and management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Excel and Word.&nbsp; </li><li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.&nbsp; </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.</li><li>Individual must possess and demonstrate excellent knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, as well as communication skills, technical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis.</li><li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.&nbsp; </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li></ul>&nbsp;Accountabilities<ul><li>Requires the interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills to interact with utility customers, potential utility customers, contractors’ organizations, and local community agencies. &nbsp;</li><li>Must possess the ability to work with a broad spectrum of people from customers, senior management team, to the entry level worker. &nbsp;</li></ul>The ability to coordinate, schedule and prioritize the activities of the Supervisors/leads and other personnel within the scope of the contract team and involved in complex and multi-discipline activities is a must.&nbsp;&nbsp;Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems Management or related disciplines.</li><li>10+ years of experience in project management or a similar multi-disciplined business environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred</li></ul>Experience in utility, telecommunications or similarly regulated industries is a plus and benefits the individual, as well as the goals of the program and company.&nbsp;&nbsp;Working Conditions/Physical Requirements/Safety/PPE/OHSAS<ul><li>Working Conditions: Typical indoor office environment with the majority of time spent sitting and working on a computer using keyboard, mouse, and monitor.&nbsp;
