In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of airport infrastructure through the planning, design, and delivery of complex airfield and landside improvement projects. You will join a team of dedicated aviation planners and engineers delivering iconic aviation projects.  The AECOM Florida Aviation Team currently has assignments across the state at airports ranging from large hubs to general aviation facilities, including Tampa International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport, Gainesville Regional Airport, Punta Gorda Airport and numerous others.  There has never been a better time to join AECOM.  Job Summary:<ul><li>Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, vehicle service roads, airfield lighting and signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation.</li><li>Developing civil airfield design and construction improvement documents</li><li>Coordinate with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects.</li><li>Perform aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports</li><li>Involved with projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration of airports, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans.</li><li>Collaborating and/or coordinating with delivery teams consisting of multi-disciplined design engineers and technicians</li><li>AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D design manager duties</li><li>Analyze GIS data, client as-builts, survey data, geotechnical data, subsurface utility information, and data needed for project development.</li><li>Supervise, coordinate, and produce several projects concurrently.</li><li>Establishes positive client relationships.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies.</li><li>Includes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of airport improvement projects throughout the State of Florida</li></ul>
