If you're ready to make a real impact in a company that's redefining heavy industry for a cleaner, smarter world, we want to hear from you.What you will do:  As a Mechanical Technician II, you will primarily contribute to the company’s test and pilot systems’ availability and reliability.  Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of chemical and electrochemical systems ranging from R&amp;D to pilot scales </li><li>Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment </li><li>Help develop and document appropriate preventative maintenance and calibration procedures </li><li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to equipment and systems including pump and valve rebuilds, cleaning, tube and pipe replacements </li><li>Perform routine calibrations and checks on various instruments measuring parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates </li><li>Contribute to the construction of new test systems and supporting infrastructure </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and outside agencies as needed </li><li>Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor </li></ul>What we need you to bring to the team:   <ul><li>High School Degree or GED</li><li>3+ years of experience as a technician or operator in chemical manufacturing or R&amp;D</li><li>Strong understanding of fluid flow processes and experience with pumps, valves, filters, and instrumentation</li><li>Ability to follow established procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and solve routine problems independently</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong commitment to safety and accurate data documentation</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient in or able to quickly learn Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>  What we want you to bring to the team:   <div><div><ul><li>Technical certification or associate’s degree in a related field  </li><li>4+ years of industry experience working as a technician or operator in a chemical, manufacturing, or R&amp;D environment (excludes internships, co-ops, and other school projects)     </li><li>Experience with basic troubleshooting of low voltage power, signal, and electrical equipment </li><li>Experience contributing to preventative maintenance programs for industrial systems and equipment </li><li>Experience or the desire to be in a dynamic startup environment     </li><li>Ability to prioritize and execute, with a high level of detail, on daily tasks effectively with minimal supervision  </li></ul> Compensation:   <ul><li>The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $25-$27 and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  </li></ul>  If you need an accommodation during the application or interview process, reach out to us at <a href="mailto:careers@electra.earth">careers@electra.earth</a> We’re here to help.</div></div>
