This is a paid internship - 40 hours per week for 8 - 10 weeks in an office environment; this is not a remote position.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Support day-to-day tasks such as data / trend analysis, project support, report writing, production planning &amp; team coordination activities</li><li>Manufacturing Engineering Projects (example could include build fixture design and development)</li><li>Safety Reporting Support (Paint VOCs, Fire Extinguisher Checks, Haz Waste, Wastewater, etc.)</li><li>Work area preparation (staging)</li><li>5S – organizing work areas, developing shadow boards, etc.</li><li>Continuous Improvement project support</li><li>Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities</li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>US Citizenship is required due to government contracts</li><li>Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (preferably Junior or Senior), in the following fields of study: Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering</li><li>Fundamental understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems</li><li>Experience with assembly processes is a plus</li><li>Experience in an automotive, heavy machinery, or similar environment would be helpful</li><li>Understanding with at least one CAD program</li><li>Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment</li></ul>Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
