You’ll have the freedom to lead, the support to grow, and the tools to make a difference.</p><h2></h2><p></p><h1><b>Principal Responsibilities</b></h1><p></p><p><b>Benefits Strategy &amp; Administration</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of health, wellness, retirement, and paid time off programs.</p></li><li><p>Oversee annual open enrollment and drive plan design enhancements.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Leave &amp; Disability Management</b></h2><ul><li><p>Oversee the legislative leaves and disability programs across both countries, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance to HR and employees.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Vendor &amp; Compliance Oversight</b></h2><ul><li><p>Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service delivery.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, provincial/territorial legislation) and support audits and filings.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Team Leadership</b></h2><ul><li><p>Lead and develop a high-performing benefits team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Analytics &amp; Benchmarking</b></h2><ul><li><p>Analyze benefit utilization and cost trends.</p></li><li><p>Conduct market benchmarking and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Employee Communication &amp; Support</b></h2><ul><li><p>Develop clear and engaging communication materials.</p></li><li><p>Provide direct support to employees and HR partners to resolve benefit-related inquiries.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Pension &amp; Retirement Savings Oversight</b></h2><ul><li><p>Support administration of pension and retirement savings plans (DC, RRSP, 401K).</p></li><li><p>Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain plan integrity and promote employee engagement.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Qualifications</b></h1><ul><li><p>Minimum of 7 years of experience managing employee benefits programs, with a focus on both salaried and hourly employees in the <b>U.S</b>. and Canada.</p></li><li><p>3 years of experience leading a team of professionals.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in benefits administration, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off.</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge of benefits regulations in the U.S. and Canada, including compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing benefits vendors and developing cost-effective benefits programs.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3>Don’t meet every single requirement?
