We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.</p><h2>Overview</h2><p> Manage lamination work cell set up tasks, such as staging prepreg kits, preparing molds, replenishing consumables, maintaining clean work centers / hardware, and complete pre-lamination duties. This role enables composite hand layup technicians to focus exclusively on lamination workmanship, supporting takt time and part quality. </p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p><strong>Work Cell Set Up / Material Handling:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Stage all materials required for next-part build kit, tooling, hardware, and aids (including ports, TCs, pins, consumables, ect).  </li></ul><ul> <li>Return empty bins / notify support teams of replenishment demand, if applicable restock point-of-use locations  </li></ul><p><strong>Administrative Tasks:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Complete “Pre-Lamination Step” for production runs (kit thawing. Mold identification, laser set up) </li></ul><ul> <li>Check material in / out of the freezer  </li></ul><ul> <li>Submit work stoppages (if applicable) </li></ul><ul> <li>Submit redlined (if applicable)  </li></ul><p><strong>Line Maintenance &amp; Cleaning:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Wipe down equipment and workstations between shifts or batches </li></ul><ul> <li>Maintain 4S+S and organization </li></ul><ul> <li>Maintain consumable min/max levels  </li></ul><p><strong>Communication &amp; Team Support:</strong> </p><ul> <li>Attend daily standups </li></ul><ul> <li>Respond quickly to technician requests (tools, parts, etc.) </li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>HS Diploma or GED equivalent </li></ul><ul> <li>Work Shift Monday - Friday- 4:00pm-1:00am </li></ul><ul> <li>Strong sense of time management and urgency </li></ul><ul> <li>Good organizational habits (5S, labeling, cleanliness) </li></ul><ul> <li>Light computer or barcode scanner proficiency </li></ul><ul> <li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk the floor regularly </li></ul><ul> <li>Proactive communicator who works well with multiple stations </li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><p>The target base pay for this position is $18-$19hr + people on night shift are eligible for an additional 10% on top of their base pay..
